The ratings for Velocity Fitness Magnetic Recumbent Bike are all exceptional and the reviewers claimed that it’s very quiet which allows riders to watch TV or read while working out. The seat is made of thick foam and very comfortable and the color of the bike is great as well. The stride is very smooth and there are several levels of resistance to choose from. The features on the control pad are more than adequate as the control pad registers heart rate, speed, calories, time, and distance. This bike has a nice look, the front control pad can fold down for storage, and there are two wheels on the front of the machine for easily moving the unit around.

We haven’t found any negative rating for Velocity Fitness Magnetic Recumbent Bike but there are some minor concerns from the reviewers. It uses manual tension, and since it’s not computer-controlled, it can’t be programmed to mimic riding up and down hills or slowly increasing or decreasing the tension at a fixed rate.  Also, the lever-like brake that locks the seat in place needs to be pushed down really hard to get the seat to stay in position. The spacing between the seat and back pad seems too large and uncomfortable.

The bike’s frame seems to be well-built which is the big different between this and other recumbent bikes. It doesn’t fit together sloppily like some of the cheap recumbent bikes seen at discount stores. Putting the bike is a breeze which can’t take more than 30 to 45 minutes. Most of the job to be done is just aligning things and tightening screws.
