Schwinn A20 Recumbent Bike Review

Most reviewers of Schwinn A20 Recumbent Bike raved about its exceptional performance, stating that it’s quiet and lightweight yet very solid for a recumbent bike. It’s just unbelievably quiet that users can perform their exercise even when the rest of household members are asleep without having to disturb them. Putting the bike together takes about an hour and isn’t very difficult using the tools provided. The various nuts, bolts, washers and other parts are very clearly marked. The parts fit together nicely with pre-drilled holes, carriage bolts and some screws. Users can use four D cell batteries but there’s an optional adapter to plug it.

A few reviewers were quite disappointed that the fan is utterly useless since the console is designed for an elliptical machine. This means that the fan doesn’t blow anywhere near the face. The book/laptop rest also suffers from the same problems. The main problem with this bike is the console display. It’s so poor that it’s difficult to see and read especially in low light so users would use a flashlight to read it.

Users claimed that this recumbent bike’s programs are so easy to use. The auto changing courses make it more fun than a manual-adjusting model. Operation and controls of the electronic display are simple enough. In addition, this bike is pretty compact and fits easily in a smaller room in the house. The angle of the back allows users with severe back pain who can’t use an upright bike to ride on it almost daily. It gives a good workout better than some reviewers expected.

Very high average rating was given to Schwinn A20 Recumbent Bike by its reviewers.  For those who don’t need anything fancy, this bike is solid and provides a nice manual resistance and balance that even some medical professionals recommend this for knee replacement stiffness and to diabetic patients who have difficulty walking.  This recumbent bike doesn’t have all the bells and whistles but it’s a great-quality bike with a good price and gives great workout.
